Our spectacular season closes with the CCSO celebrating “Earth Day”. Each piece on this program relates to an aspect of “Mother Earth” and begins with one of the best known classical pieces of all time: “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi played by world-renowned violinist Chee Yun Kim. We will then enjoy a rousing multi-media view of our oceans with Debussy’s masterpiece: “The Sea” (La Mer) and
images of the Appalachian Trail set to the music of "Simple Gifts"!
This will be a wonderful conclusion to an outstanding season! See you at the Symphony!
